The Garbett family look forward to welcoming you to our piece of heaven in rural France. It has taken us a long time to convert our barn, not least because we both have full time jobs and a young son, to provide two bedroomed accomodation but we hope that you will fall in love with it and the area as we did 8 long years ago.
We have designed and built the accomodation to be as flexible as possible so if you are looking for a self catering gite we can offer you just that. If you would like bed and breakfast and an evening meal we can cater for that too. So if you're looking for a get away from it all short break or a fortnights relaxing holiday then get in touch to discuss what we can do to help.
Our aim is for you to relax and let the everyday worries and stresses melt away, you'll have use of a private garden with a heated pool and terrace. What is important to us is that your holiday in France is exactly what you want it be and that you'll want to return again and again.
What is a Gîte?
According to Wikipedia - A gîte is a French holiday home that is available for rent. Gîtes are usually fully furnished and equipped for self-catering.
Our gite is a converted barn with:
- Two Bedrooms
- Double with ensuite
- Large room with 2 single beds (we can add a third), portable tv and dvd player for the children
- Living room with TV
- Seperate dinning room, can be turned into a third bedroom on request
- Kitchen with full oven, hob, microwave and fridge freezer
- Utility room
- Family bathroom

- We can provide mapped routes and even meet you at lunch time with a picnic

- With or without hills on roads or cross country

- The area is a haven for resident and migratory birds including Golden Orioles

- You can hire canoes for exploring the rivers nearby

- There are many large lakes offering all sorts of activities
