A little about our table d'hôte.

The set menu costs 20 euros per person and includes main meal, desert and local cheeses, plus a carafe of the local Vendéen wine red, white or rosé.

We are passionate about using good quality fresh, local produce, organic whenever possible and we aim to provide a unique eating experience.

Using the courtyard as our backdrop, on balmy summer evenings, surrounded by candles and the scent of lavender and honeysuckle, serenaded by the distant chiming of the church bells and 'le chante des grenouilles'.

It's a casual affair and I will simply appear with the 'apparatus' and you can serve out as needed. All of the dishes have been chosen with care and attention and come in the pot straight from the oven. Desserts can be stored in your fridge and cheeses left to 'ripen' in the gîte kitchen.

Please note, normally a days notice is sufficient but in the case of the boeuf bourgignon two are necessary for marinading.

Due to space limitations we can only provide one set menu per evening, however, there are a number of vegetarian options available.

For children a 'half' portion can be provided if necessary, for 10 euros.
